Welcome to the Vineyard! We know that attending a church for the first time takes a truck load of courage.  We'd like to make this as easy as possible by giving you a few 'heads up' about what you might experience.  If you show up on any given Sunday you will experience a few things:

Worship…we love to sing to our God!  Typically there will be a band (guitars, drums, keyboard, etc…) and most people sing out to God.  We’ve created an environment where you are free to stand and sing, sit quietly and watch, kneel in reverence, raise your hands…whatever!

Kids?…Children at Vineyard will be loved, taught and challenged to be all that God made them to be.  Our Kids Zone facility is safe, fun and engaging. Feel free to check them in 15 minutes before the service and then sit back and relax. Your children will have a fantastic experience with kids their own age.  Full programming for birth-4th grade is available.

Communion…you are welcome to participate in the Lord’s table if you are a follower of Jesus.  This is a physical reminder for us of his sacrifice.

Sermon…if you love shouting, spitting and ear splitting rhetoric then you may want to sneak out after worship.  Jon, our pastor, teaches out of the bible in a conversational and practical way.  The talk usually lasts around 35 minutes and you might actually find yourself enjoying it.

Prayer…after the sermon, our prayer team will be available to pray for any need you might have.

During the week you can expect...

Small Groups…during the week we have lots of small groups that you can attend.  This isn't simply another meeting, but an investment in relationships and an invitation to go deeper with God.  It doesn't matter if you're still trying to figure out what you believe about God or a seasoned disciple, these groups are a safe place to grow.

Service…we believe that serving others is critical to growing in our faith in Jesus.  Vineyard provides dozens of ways to serve the local church and the city.  Everything from serving the poor on Saturday at our food pantry to teaching our children at our weekend services, there is a place for you to give.
