How many sermons have you heard on the subject of the end times? How about tongues? Homosexuality? Certainly these are all valid biblical subjects, but all three of these subjects add up to just a handful of verses in the bible. How many sermons on the subject of the poor? Funny things is, the subject that holds the attention of our Heavenly Father more than any other is justice for the poor? In fact, 2000 verses in the bible are dedicated to loving the poor. In this talk, Jon challenges us to engage in the ministry to the poor as a way to see God’s breakthrough in the world.

Believe it or not, these are not accurate pictures of justice in the Bible. Justice could best be described by the prophet Micah, “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” In this talk, Jonathan unpacks one of the primary truths of justice.
