How Much Skin and How Many Drinks (Jon Quitt)
June 12, 2007
2 beers or 10 beers or no beers? Culotttes or string bikini or thong? As Christians we have so many choices. To make it even worse, Jesus has given us freedom in the decisions we make. We absolutely have the freedom to drink a margarita at the steak house. However…. It is in this “however” that Jon begins this talk on personal boundaries. We look through the lenses of Freedom, Others and the Kingdom of God.
How To Handle Conflict (Jonathan Cook)
June 4, 2007
We all encounter conflict (some more than others). From the person who “rubs me the wrong way” to a spouse who just won’t listen, conflict seemingly comes our way every week. The Bible is very clear that conflict and strife are inevitable.
How then should we, as Christians, handle conflict and the suffering that comes with it? In this message, we will look at the necessity of conflict, God’s use for conflict in the lives of believers, and the Biblical prescription to successfully handle conflict.
