The Color of Racism (Jon Quitt)
Segregated bathrooms. Martin Luther King Jr. Social ghettos. Selma, Alabama. KKK. These are words that stir up a history that many of us are not proud of. We say, “Thank God racism is behind us”. But is it? Or is the racial divide as wide as it has ever been? In this talk Jon speaks frankly about the issue of racism and racial harmony in the world and in the church. We are confronted with our own prejudices and fears regarding people that are different from each of us and called to pursue unity through the blood of Jesus.
